I love dogs and I love spring, however I don’t really love what happens to my yard after the snow melts and the landmines left over the winter are exposed. Now that spring is (hopefully) here to stay it’s time to get out and clean up the yard, which means an extra job for us pet owners.

This is especially important if you’re selling your home, in my photography prep checklist I remind sellers to put away all the pet things before photos so prospective buyers don’t make any assumptions about the condition of the house due to pets being there.

This is also true about the yard, prospective buyers don’t want to have to tiptoe through your yard and you don’t want your yard to leave a bad impression after they ruin their favorite pair of shoes or realize your yard doesn’t quite smell like the fresh spring day they were expecting. Even worse you don’t want them tracking anything back into your house. You’re also very likely to have other people in and out of your property such as the realtor, photographer, inspectors, etc so do yourself a favor and get those puppy presents picked up sooner rather than later.

Personally I can say that yard clean up does not land very high on my to do list so I was very excited to see Crystal from Tri-Paw’d Pet Care is offering this as one of her services. I would highly recommend giving her a call to come over and take care of any needed clean up before that for sale sign goes in the yard. For help on selling your home and purchasing a new one look for real estate agents near me or Lowcountry Real Estate for guidance.
